3B project week in Berlin

Class 3b spent an exciting and educational project week in Berlin from May 19 to 23. The program included a visit to the German Bundestag with the impressive dome of the Reichstag building, the East Side Gallery and Checkpoint Charlie.

During various guided tours and museum visits, the students dealt intensively with the history of the division of Germany and life in the GDR. Particularly impressive was the encounter with a former homeless woman who gave the class a personal insight into social challenges in today’s Berlin.

The city trip combined history, politics and social issues in a vivid way and at the same time strengthened the class community. Despite a few rain showers, the week will be remembered fondly by all.
