An exciting journey into the history of medicine

The students of the Biology elective course took an exciting journey into the history of medicine on October 1. Accompanied by our biology teacher Ms. Lisa Binder, they visited the house where Ignaz Semmelweis was born, the associated museum and the last resting place of the famous doctor.

The participants were particularly impressed by the development of dental chairs, the former anatomy theaters and the surgical instruments of the past. The expert tour gave the students valuable insights into the history of medicine.
