Descriptive geometry is offered as an extra-curricular subject and is a sub-area of geometry that deals with the representation of three-dimensional objects in a two-dimensional plane. The aim of the lessons is to train and improve spatial imagination. The understanding of spatial drawing arises when one deals with spatial problems oneself, to achieve this, a lot is drawn. In addition to manual design on the one hand and the use of modern 3D CAD software on the other, the recognition and knowledge of geometric relationships are promoted. Teaching descriptive geometry gives you a clear advantage in analytical geometry and prepares you for some degree courses, e.g. technical studies, architecture and fine arts.
