Mathematical Olympiad: Regional competition for advanced students

Hanna Szöke and Christian Piskernig (2A) and Kristóf Dulin and Dávid Márosi (4B) took part in the 3. and On April 4, the students took part in the advanced regional competition of the Mathematical Olympiad (Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland). They tackled difficult tasks for four hours – with success: all of them were able to collect points, and the A-level students even achieved 3rd place.

In addition to the competition, there was also time for shared experiences: The group explored the remote Raach – “practically the end of the universe” according to the participants – and almost became part of the local choir. The reunion with ÖSB student Sophie Papp, who is spending this year in Vienna, was also very nice.

Congratulations on your successful participation in the Math Olympiad!
