The physics exercises are offered as an extra-curricular activity for interested students:
– in the summer semester for the 2nd grades
– in the winter semester for the 3rd and 4th grades..
The aim is to awaken natural curiosity and to discover the world of physics independently. Pupils are encouraged to question phenomena from nature, technology and the cosmos and to explore them through their own experiments. Your own suggestions for topics are welcome and will be integrated into the internship.
2nd grade content:
With the help of experiment kits on mechanics and electrical engineering, pupils investigate basic physical concepts such as movement, rotation, energy, energy transfer, momentum and simple circuits.
Contents of the 3rd and 4th grade content:
To reinforce the subject matter, calculation exercises are carried out and physical topics are reflected upon – from classical theories to modern concepts such as quantum physics and relativity. We also philosophize about the effects on our everyday lives and our view of the world.
A particular highlight is the practical work with a robot, the programming and control of which is part of the exercises. In addition, selected experiments from the lessons (e.g. with the laser) are repeated and carried out independently.
