Entrance examinations are required for admission to the Austrian School Budapest. In these examinations, emphasis is placed on linguistic and logical skills in addition to specialist knowledge.

The Austrian School Budapest does not take part in the centralized state admission procedure, but instead prepares internal examinations tailored to the specific requirements of the school.

The exam consists of three parts, each lasting 50 minutes.
Exam subjects: Mathematics, Hungarian and the first living foreign language (depending on the student: in English or German)

On the day of the entrance exam, candidates must bring a photo ID and writing materials (pencil, eraser, ruler, ballpoint pen).

1. The parents or legal guardians send the registration form incl. a copy of your identity card or passport and a copy of your 7th grade report card by ONLINE FORM (incl. uploading the documents)
2. The school will send the parents/guardians a confirmation of receipt and an invitation to the entrance examinations by e-mail.
3. The candidates write the entrance exams.
4. The school informs the parents/guardians about the outcome of the examinations and the decision on admission as well as the further procedure.
